Did not know this site was available. In 2010 we hired a car from Abbey Self Drive for a period of about 4 weeks. No problems at all. The car was delivered to our address in Birmingham on the day and at the time specified. About 3 weeks into the hire period we decided we wanted the car for another 3 weeks. No problem - the hire was extended over the phone, and the balance was paid at the time we ended the hiring contract. The car was picked up by a representative of Abbey with no problems at all. We drove the car all over England, Wales and Scotland (about 3000 miles in total) and there was never a problem with the car (a 2006 model Vaxhall Vectra. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone visiting the UK or even a "local" person requiring a vehicle. Great Service, Great Satisfaction, with NO hassles as far as the hiring was concerned. We Cannot recommend this company highly enough. .
