A review of The Surgery by Maureen Whitr written on Wednesday 7th of August 2013
I called the surgery approximately half an hour ago to see if I could get an emergency appointment as I am flying to Thailand this evening and feel I may have a ear infection. I saw Dr Alonzo last week who prescribed cream, however, this did not help, hence, my call this morning. I found reception very unhelpful and apparently advice was sought via a supervisor who stated I go to a walk in centre I explained I had no transport as my car had broken down andi needed assistance before my flight as I was on a time limit. No help was offered. I came of the phone frustrated with the lack of empathy received. I am aware that you operate a appointment policy and I have always adhered to this however today was an exception where I required assists and was given none. I don't make a fuss for no reason as I class myself to be an intelligent woman who would not abuse a valuable service, but, on this occasion I feel the service I received by reception staff was not acceptable..
