"Pleasantly surprised"

I recently booked a PIA flight and then had to cancel a week before departure due to illness. To be honest I wasnt expecting any response or refund after reading many negative reviews online.

However, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service I recieved in person, over the phone and via email.

I visited the birmingham office and there was no queue. I was attended to immediately and the person on the desk advised me how to cancel my booking and request a refund. After the visit, I never had to wait more than 5 minutes on the phone for my call to be accepted.

After contacting the Islamabad PIA office for me, the people at the Birmingham office kept me informed via regular phone calls and emails. Within ten days I had full refund returned to my bank account.

I am so pleased with the customer service and I thought I must leave a review for the benefit of other PIA customers..
