A review of St Peter & St Paul Catholic Church by Caroline Flanagan written on Sunday 31st of May 2015
Attended a holy communion a few weeks ago and the young priest from the local
area spoke candidly about the importance of regular attendance.
He was down to earth and said what I had been thinking for some time.
The catholic faith and the sunday mass is slowly but surely declining and in one generation could possibly become an insignificant and very small religion.
The mass can be very healing and an enjoyable time if people who attend really feel the presence and hear the words said an go through the last supper with Christ,
You are there with Christ before his painful passion when you say you are not worthy of him before receiving him in the body of Christ .
You will feel renewed and refreshed when you spend an hour each sunday at mass and ask for forgiveness for your sins as we all have many whether small or large.
Give it a try and see for oneself the difference it can make if only you will allow it to.
It is a wonderful legacy given to us and passed down through two thousand years and all the beautiful saints.
